This exhibition enables three schools – Mamaroneck High School, New Rochelle High School and the French American School – to each choose 25 pieces of work for the show.  Then, during the show, juried members of the Larchmont-based Guild judge and select one Best of Show piece, along with 1st , 2nd and Honorable Mention winners in various categories.  (Categories are identified once the guild sees the pool of entries.)

“There is always a surprisingly enormous amount of talent at the high school,” Suzanne Montresor, Director of the MAG, says.  “I especially love to see all of the parents and grandparents that come out for the show.” Montresor commended the art teachers for all the hard work they put forth in selecting the entries and getting them ready for the show.
